Immigrant and Refugee Resource Collaborative

Our vision is of a community where refugees, immigrants, and language minorities are welcomed and are able to integrate and participate fully in society at all levels. With that as an expectation, we work to provide services, promote opportunities, and build a network of relationships to foster the realization of Ingham County Michigan as a home for people seeking a better life from all parts of the globe.

Refugee and Immigrant Health Team

USCRI is proud to announce the rollout of the Refugee and Immigrant Health Team. With funding from the Office of Refugee Resettlement in the Department of Health and Human Services, USCRI has established the Refugee and Immigrant Health Team with two overarching and related initiatives: The Healthy Refugees, Healthy Families Initiative and the Food and Nutrition Outreach Program. The team is available immediately to provide resources, translated audio, visual, and written materials, as well as to provide technical assistance in the integration of health and nutrition information for newly incoming populations at greater risk for poor health.
