Creating Internal and External Links
Once you have logged in and begin to edit your document, you can begin linking your page to other pages on the CACVoices site (internal) or to other websites that are not on CACVoices (external).
- Select edit: Make sure the edit option is selected and you are able to change the body of the page.

- Highlight linked word/words: Highlight the word or words that you want to link to another page.
- Click Insert Link button: The left button (the chain link) is for internal links and the right button (globe) is for external links. Once you click one of these, a box will pop open prompting you to select a folder or type a URL.
- Internal Links - Click "Home" to open a list of the CACVoices folders. Select the path to the page you wish to link to until the page itself appears as a document. Highlight page and click OK. If you have created an additional page in the same folder as the original page, then click "Current Folder" to see a list of all the pages and documents in that folder. Select the page you wish to link to, and click OK.
- External Links - Type the full URL into the white box, including http:// (for example, http://www.google.com). Click OK in the bottom right corner of the box.
- Save Changes: Click save at the bottom of the page.
